BTA Member Benefits

Networking & Education

BTA Member Meetings are held at various member properties throughout the Baltimore metropolitan area on the second Thursday of each month. A networking and breakfast session starts at 8:30am, with the speaker, educational seminar, or topic of discussion beginning at 9:00am.

Afternoon meetings are held at various times throughout the year. Afternoon meetings start at 4:00pm. For BTA’s Meeting Schedule, click here.

These meetings feature a wide range of opportunities, including speakers sharing valuable insights, educational seminars to inform and equip members, and interactive discussions about tourism issues and trends. Meeting attendees are also invited to network, share ideas, create itineraries, participate in round table discussions and build partnerships among members.

BTA's core mission is to support and strengthen the Baltimore tourism & hospitality industry, by professionally representing and marketing all that our Charm City has to offer! As tourism ambassadors, we take great pride in sharing what is unique about Baltimore and our members.

BTA represents its membership at a variety of trade shows covering the student, senior and adult markets. Members can have their information distributed to group leaders and tour operators at these shows by participating in our FREE collateral and promotional stuffing events in 2022. The BTA representative attending the show offers itinerary suggestions, takes part in sales calls and hands out information on your behalf, which is especially beneficial to members who do not have the budget to attend these trade shows.

Baltimore's tourism community is one of the region's most important drivers of economic growth, providing thousands of jobs and generating millions of dollars in revenue every year.  BTA advocates for the interests of our industry at the local, state, and federal levels, supporting legislation and policies that strengthen tourism and hospitality.
